Silver

Silver is an elemental mineral that is made up of a single type of atom. The crystals are heavy, malleable, and melt at 1,760 °F (960°C). Occurs on joints and in druses, occasionally in placer deposits. It is found in its rare native form as tangled fibers, sheets, or sometimes pebbles. Silver is used in metallurgy, electronics, the photographic industry, for coins and for jewelry.
