Fossil Coral

Fossil coral is an agatized coral fossil (and oftentimes is referred to agatized coral) that display small flower-like patterns on the surface of the stone. Decaying organic materials are placed with silica-rich solutions. Over thousands of millennia they grew under pressure into small flower-lie patterns on the surface of the stone.
