Dendritic Quartz, or Merlinite, contains plant-like biomorphic formations branching into clear quartz. The stones themselves aren't alive, of course, except in the impression given by their flash and brillance; holding everything together is an intensely curious intellect and a technical dexterity that keeps people on their toes.
